Fire Safety Certificate

Certain products, where a GOST-R certificate is required, in addition need a so-called Fire Safety Certificate. The certification includes testing the products for their fire resistance and operation safety. Bellow are some examples of the products which require the Fire Safety Certificate:

Electrical and electronic products (cables, telephones, refrigerators, etc.)
Materials (many plastics, insulation materials, floor coverings, roofing materials, etc.)
Construction products (such as cable trunks, building products with fire protection function: cable and elevator shafts, doors, windows, etc.)
Equipment for fire protection and firemen;

All products must be tested only by those agencies accredited by the Russian authorities. The Fire Safety Certificate is required for the GOST-R certification.
