From January 1 to September 19, 2021 Gazprom supplied 20.3 billion cubic meters to Turkey. m of gas is a historically record volume for this period and is 153% (12.3 billion cubic meters) more than in 2020 (8 billion cubic meters).
Operational data on gas supplies are provided by Gazprom, reporting on the contact between Alexey Miller and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez.
The parties discussed cooperation in the gas sector, in particular, they talked about gas supplies, writes Gazprom.
“The parties highly appreciated the work of the Blue Stream and Turkish Stream gas pipelines, which reliably transport Russian gas across the Black Sea to consumers,” the release says.
