The Directorate General of the European Commission for Health and Food Safety informed Rosselkhoznadzor that Russia was included in the list of countries that are allowed to export snail products to the European Union.

The relevant decision is confirmed by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/34. It amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/405 establishing lists of third countries that are allowed to enter the European Union for certain animals and goods intended for human consumption.

In case of interest in the supply of snail products to the territory of the European Union, participants in foreign economic activity must undergo an examination for compliance with EU requirements by submitting an application through an electronic interface in the Cerberus information system.
