The European Parliament exempted importers of goods from Ukraine from duties !!!

The European Parliament has adopted a decision according to which, within one year, goods imported into the EU from Ukraine will not be subject to duties.

The proposal to cancel duties for Ukrainian goods was received at the end of April from the European Commission.

“The decisions approved under the urgent procedure provide for a complete suspension of duties on imports of industrial goods, fruits and vegetables, anti-dumping duties, protective measures against steel imports for a period of one year,” RIA Novosti quotes a fragment of a statement from the press service of the pan-European legislative body.

The European Parliament stressed that the EU accounts for 40% of Ukraine’s foreign trade. The European Commission said that the abolition of import duties will help support the country’s economy against the backdrop of a special operation carried out by Russian military personnel.
