The EAEU has begun the development of an interstate program in the field of power engineering

During his visit to NRU “MPEI” Artak Kamalyan noted the special significance of the developed interstate program for all states of the Union, and also expressed the Commission’s readiness to facilitate the accelerated progress of work on the preparation of the project.

“The industrial block of the EEC has done a great deal of work on this topic: it has developed the concept of the project, discussed it with the state bodies of our countries and submitted it for consideration by the bodies of the Union. As a result, the project was supported by the Council of the Commission – in April this year, a corresponding decision was made,” Artak Kamalyan noted. our task is to finalize the draft and submit it for approval by the heads of government of the EAEU countries. ”

As a result of the implementation of the interstate program, technologies, materials and devices will be created that will contribute to the successful development of the industrial production industry of modern means of monitoring distributed energy facilities, as well as their management, integration systems of energy equipment that provide communication between various sources of small renewable and distributed generation, storage systems to provide energy and environmental safety and independence of the EAEU states.

Within the framework of the working meeting at the MPEI site, the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia also confirmed the interest of the Russian side in the development and subsequent implementation of the interstate program in the field of power engineering.

 

The progress of work on the preparation of an interstate program to improve the efficiency and reliability of industrial facilities and distributed energy in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union was discussed by the Minister for Industry and Agroindustrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission Artak Kamalyan with the rector of the National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” (NRU “MPEI”) Nikolai Rogalev.
